THE NEW MOON SERVICE IN THE CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST

The new moon service is usually observed on the first Thursday of very month in the Celestial Church of Christ. It is a doctrinal service, it usually start by 10 pm and last into the early morning of the following day as long as the Holy Spirit wills. The service is in two part, at exactly 10:00 pm members with a stick of candle in their hands congregate to worship the Lord in praises with dancing at about 11:55 pm. The first part ends with members kneeling down to make their request known unto the Lord and the candles are collected to be lighted. The second part starts at exactly 12:00 am with lifted hands in worship of the Almighty. The service then proceeds to other ministrations. The new month service is the only service where seven elders both males and females are called upon to offer prayers to God while the congregation say amen where applicable. Many great prophecies have come out from this monthly services. Individuals at various times have met God. It is a wonderful soul lifting and captivating worship experience.
