SUCCESS FORMULA FOR CHORISTERS

Hello friends,

Let me share my thought on success secret for choristers. Please note that this formula also apply to any endeavor. It is my hope that you will not only find it interesting but also begin to apply the formula.

MIND SETS – Romans 12: 2b “But be transformed by the renewal of your mind”.

Everything start within our mind. It is important to address the issue of positive mind posture. A must chorister the fact that he or she is a minister of the gospel, a choristers must see himself or herself as a partner in the course of salvation, without accepting this part it will be difficult to excessively put the formula to use. A choristers must show deep affection for the congregation, a choristers must lead the congregation in worship in humility.

My success formula states that “EM = POWER” i.e. for Effective Ministration, a chorister needs Passion, Organization, Work, Enthusiasm and Reward.

For a chorister to move the congregation to the height of spiritual experience, the choristers passion must be palpable, the choristers must be highly passionate about singing, he or she must aspire to give his best at all times, irrespective of whether he or she is been applauded, a chorister must take singing as a service to the Lord Jesus Christ. We all know that nothing is achievable without the Holy Spirit of God. However, been lead by the Spirit does not mean been disorganized. The important of planning an organization cannot be over emphasized Proverb 16 :1 tells us that it for man to plan but for God the execute the plans. Hence, a choristers must be organized in his presentation.

There is virtually no shortcut to success. Work, work and work, a chorister must be willing to work hard and master his or her lines, a choristers must not be given to mediocrity, a choristers must embrace the spirit of excellence and strive for perfection while showing great enthusiasm at singing.

The reward will surely come to the diligent worker. God is ever ready to reward our labour of love, this is apart from the personal satisfaction we derive from doing it right. Apply this same formula to your work or study and you will found out that it really works. As Celestial Church members and as choristers we know that nothing works without the Holy Spirit of God for as many as are lead by the Holy Spirit of God and the Sons of God.
